Community involvement

I am an advocate for DE&I and mentorship within my community. I am filled with gratitude and joy when I have the opportunity to pass on what I know to others or help organizations that align with my values. I serve on boards and committees for organizations within the financial industry or for companies making an impact.

• CFP Board Ambassador: Serving as a trusted voice in financial planning, I help promote the value of working with a CFP® professional by providing financial education, insights, and advocacy to the broader community.

• SER Latino Summit. Planning committee member. This is a conference geared toward creating an inclusive space in the industry for Latino financial professionals with the goal of supporting, educating, and recharging in a way conferences haven’t done before.

• Remarkably Us: Founding board member. This is a non-profit focused on empowering Latinas in the California foster care system through networking, skill development, and transformative experiences.

• Ready to Succeed LA. Youth Leadership Council. This is a nonprofit that supports foster youth education to prepare for life after college.

• American College Next Gen Advisory Task Force. Task force member. This is a group dedicated to driving change, cultivating environments that foster talent through inclusion and belonging, and shaping the future of the financial services industry.

• Financial Planning Association's NextGen National Leadership: DE&I representative. I am a liaison focused on promoting NexGen diversity, equity, and inclusion and bringing awareness to NexGen programs and resources.

• Riqueza Co: Previously an advisory board member. This is a financial education and media platform catering specifically to the needs of Latinos.
